Little Rock’s Brand New Freightliner M2 Heil DuraPack Python Garbage Truck!

Here’s a truck I caught. Once I saw it early in the morning, I really wanted to film it. While we were walking through a street, I found 313371 first but then I saw the M2 and I immediately went to where the M2 was. This driver was super friendly with me and I have filmed her plenty of times on the Mack LR Rapid Rails. I’m glad Little Rock got these instead of more Rapid Rails because that adds up to the variety of trucks they have, especially ASLs. This Python wasn’t very good at picking up cans that were spaced too closely… that’s just another reason why you have to space your carts a few feet apart. There are some pros and cons to this new Python. The pros are that you don’t have to shake the can plenty of times like on the Rapid Rails, and the arm dumps higher than the Rapid Rails, where you end up dumping more trash in the hopper for less amount of time and you don’t end up leaving trash left behind inside the cans. The cons are that unlike the Rapid Rails, these Pythons sometimes leave spills and the grippers smash the newer carts (Ottos, Cascades, etc.) Other than that, I loved this truck and I think it works pretty well with Zarns.
