The areas of each map were calculated using simple proportional reasoning by subtracting the land areas from the maritime areas. These areas may not be the most accurate, as factors like coastlines, lakes, rivers, bridges, and others might have been either considered or not. Ice sheets were considered as landmasses. The values are approximate and may not match official figures. It's all quite relative, since with the introduction of boats, any area within the map’s boundaries can be considered "playable."
