Should You Do a PhD in Chemical Engineering?

This is a video commentary set against some more old school COD gameplay from Black Ops 6 (feeling old yet? well, maybe not so much since it's only 1 year old but I digress). More importantly, I want to talk about something that I really would have done differently had I known what I was getting myself into with a PhD in chem eng.

Specifically, the benefits of doing a degree in chemistry specifically beforehand.

Maybe this is less a video on should you do a PhD in chemical engineering and more of please, please, take this into consideration if for whatever reason, you think later on down the track you want to do a PhD in chemical engineering which can be very fun and interesting but also extremely annoying if you don't have this kind of degree.

Anyways, I'll do a part 2 later on when it comes to some more considerations for doing a PhD in general but for anyone reading or watching this, and you're thinking about the possibility of doing this with chemical engineering, then I really hope this could be of help.

Even if it's something soon on the horizon. Brushing up on your chemistry skills and know how with working in a lab is something so invaluable that I almost think it could be a must pre-requisite.
