Soft burger buns stuffed with sweet cream cheese and soaked in rich garlic butter 🤍
These viral Korean cream cheese garlic buns are eggless, indulgent, and bakery-style — perfect for festive baking or café vibes at home.
Ingredients
For the Cream Cheese Filling
Cream cheese – 300 g
Castor sugar – 50 g
Dairy whipping cream – 50 g
For the Garlic Butter
Butter – 250 g, softened
Condensed milk – 30 g
Fresh cream – 50 g
Minced garlic – 2 tbsp
Oregano – to taste
Chilli flakes – to taste
Parsley – to taste
Salt – to taste
Others
Burger buns – 6
1️⃣ Prepare the Cream Cheese Filling
In a bowl, whisk together:
Cream cheese
Castor sugar
Whipping cream
Beat until smooth, fluffy, and pipeable.
Transfer to a piping bag and refrigerate while you prep the buns.
2️⃣ Prepare the Garlic Butter
In another bowl, mix:
Softened butter
Condensed milk
Fresh cream
Minced garlic
Oregano, chilli flakes, parsley
Salt
Whisk until creamy and well combined.
METHOD:
3️⃣ Prepare the Buns
Using a sharp knife, cut each burger bun into 6 equal wedges, keeping the base intact (do not cut all the way through).
4️⃣ Fill the Buns
Pipe the cream cheese filling generously between each cut section.
5️⃣ Coat with Garlic Butter
Dip each filled bun into the garlic butter, ensuring it coats every layer and crevice generously.
6️⃣ Bake
Place buns on a lined baking tray.
Bake at 170°C (340°F) for 12–15 minutes, or until:
Tops are lightly golden
Butter is bubbling
Buns are soft inside
Serve
Serve warm — crispy outside, soft inside, with molten cream cheese 🤍
