Training session with service dog in training Venka. She is a very active, high drive dog who loves to try and assume she knows what you're asking next. She's the kid in the class who has her hand up before you've finished asking the question.
This is a long video of a training session that has a lot go right, and a lot go wrong. Often with dogs who alert to changes in their handler, their alert behavior will be showcasing intelligent disobedience while they try and figure out how to communicate with their human. Venka does a great deal of this during the 'grab' session before I figured out why she was behaving the way she was, then went to take medicine. I did too many repetitions for each section. But even a rough training session can lead to great results if you're consistently building up on the work you've done before!
