Pakistan Defeat Soviet Union (USSR)

The Cold War was a period of geopolitical tension between the Soviet Union and the United States and their respective allies, the Eastern Bloc and the Western Bloc, after World War II. The period is generally considered to span the 1947 Truman Doctrine to the 1991 dissolution of the Soviet Union.

In Cold War period Pakistan was on the US side. It was a member of two treaties - CENTO (Central Treaty Organization comprising US, Turkey, Iran, and Pakistan) and SEATO (South East Asian Treaty organization comprising US, Pakistan, Thailand, few others). These treaties were similar to NATO. Pakistan was key player who sent solider to beat Soviet Union in Afghanistan. Every Mujahedin fighters get their training in Pakistan.
