Converting a time-domain circuit to the phasor domain is followed by combining impedances and then doing voltage division. The result is taken back to the time domain. A parallel time-domain circuit is given with a source expressed in terms of sine. This is converted to the phasor domain. The circuit is analyzed using current division. The resistors are converted to admittances. The magnitude of the current through an individual component is determined to be larger than the source current. KCL is applied to show that the currents do indeed combine correctly. Constructive interference is given as an explanation. The time-domain current is determined.
