Returning to Big Creek Park MTB Trails after my first ride back on the bike and back to the trails.

Big Creek Cross Country MTB Trails, this is true singletrack that is unparalleled in Atlanta, definitely ban urban trail system, and an amazing trail system. Big Creek is also perfect for testing your mountain bike, GoPro or other camera setup, as well as anything new such as MTB kit or hydration amounts for longer rides.

Big Creek Park MTB Trails, really more known for the freeride and downhill area, I HIGHLY recommend the cross country trails. From my experience you get a great return on the trails as they are a flatter surface but so much fun! Names like laughing Creek and climbing snake are amongst the few unique to Big Creek.

The GoPro Hero 11 Black settings used here really blew me away! Hyperview is incredibly stable and smooth, but the fisheye is too much even when set to boost, which crops in even more. I decided to zoom in an additional 10% in post production for a more realistic appearance. Although I prefer 30 fps, 60 fps worked well here.

As for the audio, I do not recommend the wind on setting, I recommend stereo (wind off) with a foam cover. I apply audio processing to the bike mix, and still it doesn't do much to improve what came straight from the GoPro.

First step is a massive EQ cut around 100hz and some compression. Tone boosters plugins and then an additional compressor to smooth the bike audio.

This is mixed in with three epidemic sound music and mastered with tone boosters EQ, barricade, and FAC Maxima limiter plugins.
