Peter Parker checks in with Yuriko Watanabe to see if Dr. Morgan Michaels is safe. Despite being warned of Silver Sable potentially shooting on sight, Peter insists he’s “just in the neighborhood.” Upon arrival, he discovers Michaels has gone missing. It turns out Sable’s convoy is ambushed by the Inner Demons, who kidnap Michaels along with vials of Devil’s Breath and escape via an armored vehicle with Mister Negative in tow. Spider-Man gives chase and is pulled into a surreal "negative zone" by Mister Negative, where he battles through ghostly enemies and mans a floating mask. Once he returns to reality, he must stop the runaway vehicle before it crashes—only to find that Mister Negative has vanished with the Devil’s Breath. Silver Sable retrieves Michaels, and despite a tense moment, Michael halts Sable from attacking Spider-Man, bringing the mission to a close
