Описание: This video showcases the Trans Alaska Oil Pipeline System known as the Alyeska Pipeline locally. The pipeline was constructed between 1974 to 1977 and takes the oil from Prudhoe Bay, AK to Valdez, AK where it is loaded onto ships for transport to refineries or holding facilities. The Alaska Pipeline amazingly stretches over 800 miles across a variety of rugged terrains in the state. Only the sections of the pipeline that are permafrost are visible as they must be elevated from this very unstable ground.
