In Session 3 of this seminar, Bradford explores the ways our culture undermines the dignity and mental health of persons with disabilities—and how the Church offers a pathway to healing. This final session highlights the life-giving wisdom of Catholic social teaching and the role of our parishes in creating supportive communities.

Bradford’s three-part seminar explores how to better understand the challenges faced by those with intellectual and developmental disabilities and how distorted cultural attitudes threaten their dignity, mental health, and safety. Learn how to recognize these threats, respond with the wisdom of the Church, and become an advocate for inclusion, compassion, and support for disabled persons in our communities.
