This is only our 3rd short session, she's been learning for 1 week.
Even though she is able to encode the short sounds independently I still want her counting the sounds each time at this early stage as a good foundation for longer words later.
Her confidence is still low so we focus on success.
Even with only 4 letters she can begin to understand ther basic concept of encoding words which will be very beneficial later on.
