Here is a great dry fly pattern that's a little bit off of the norm and floats like a cork. Snowshoe hare feet has a natural floatant quality to it and combine that with some CDC and a good floatant like High and Dry and this fly floats great. Quill Gordons are a fun hatch to fish for me in the spring when we head north to fish Kettle Creek. Give this pattern a try and change the colors on it to match the hatch.
