51L Productions brings you action from the unique West Coast Wilderness Railway.
Filmed over the course of two days due to only one service operating per day, this 3ft 6inch gauge line sits in the West Coast of Tasmania and is pretty unique as its one of only a handful of railways operating the Abt Rack and Pinion System.
The line is currently split in two with repairs taken place between Rinadeena and Lowing.
This meant Steam operated from Queenstown to Rinadeena while Diesel operated from Regatta Point to Lowana.
We opted for a train journey 13/03 and the other day chasing 14/03, sadly both were a bit of a let down and both days ended up being average, with the station staff even questioning if my camera and tripod were allowed on the train on the first day did't fill me with confidence.
Also any lineside footage is restricted, even the stations along the line being fenced off, in some cases locked by large gates.
But this unique line once its fully reopened will once again delight people from far and wide.
