The Holley Sniper needs some tuning tricks to work properly with a performance cam. In this video we show how to set up a Sniper to work on a 496 inch Mopar that makes 600 hp.
The areas that need to be addressed are ignition timing, idle speed, target AFR and cam selection. The ignition timing needs to raised significantly, the idle speed needs to be higher, and the target AFR at idle needs to be richer than normal.
