This week, the City of Selah hired a new City Administrator, with the specific goal of taking pressure off the mayor.
"We've always wanted a City Administrator position filled, and we're now moving forward with that," said Mayor Roger Bell. "I'm excited that we have that additional eye on things going on in the city."
Since March of 2025, Bell has been both the City Mayor and the City Administrator of Selah.
