2 boxes of Home Accents Holiday branded battery operated C3 size LED Christmas lights, unfortunately suffering from a typical Duracell corrosion freakshow.
I'm typically not fond of LED/DEL Christmas lights, but in certain applications where AC power is not readily available, something like this could suffice. Since they are running off DC power from the batteries, there is no flicker to the bulbs. The color is the typical cooler LED-looking coloring, but it's not blaring obnoxious or eerie like some sets are.
These would overall be pretty satisfactory if the brightness was more consistent throughout the string, about halfway through the lights start to dim considerably. It kind of seems like a faulty connection somewhere, but the same issue exists on both strings. Perhaps I will see if it can be repaired.
