How To Move Photos & Videos From DJI Osmo Action 5 Pro To Mac:

Method 1: Using a USB-C Cable

This is the most direct and reliable method.

Step 1: Power on the DJI Osmo Action 5 Pro. Connect the camera to your Mac using a USB-C to USB-C (or USB-C to USB-A) cable.

Open the latch on the camera to access the USB-C port.

Step 2: Once connected, select "File Transfer: USB" on the camera screen. Your Mac should detect the camera as an external drive. The virtual hard drives should appear on the desktop for the camera and microSD card.

Step 3: Launch either the camera hard drive or the microSD card drive. Navigate to the DCIM folder to find your photos and videos.

Drag and drop the files you want to transfer into a folder on your Mac. You can also right-click, then copy and paste them on your Mac.

Always safely eject the drive before unplugging the camera to avoid data corruption.

Method 2: Using a microSD Card Reader

If you prefer not to connect the camera directly, use a microSD card reader.

Step 1: Power off the camera and remove the microSD card.

Step 2: Insert the microSD card into a USB-C or USB-A card reader compatible with your Mac.

Step 3: Plug the card reader into your Mac. Open Finder and locate the mounted microSD card. You can also tap on the microSD card virtual hard drive that appears on the desktop.

Step 4: Browse to the DCIM folder and copy your files to your desired location on the Mac.

This method is often faster, especially when transferring large 4K or RAW files.
