In Part 2 of our Japan travel series, we dive into the cultural heart of the country — Kyoto! From getting lost in the magical Arashiyama Bamboo Forest, to visiting the iconic golden temple Kinkaku-ji, this leg of our journey was packed with unforgettable experiences.

👘 We also embraced tradition by renting kimonos for the day and taking part in a serene Japanese tea ceremony 🍵 — a truly calming and immersive moment. Then, we headed to Nara Park, where we got up close and personal with the friendly (and cheeky!) deer 🦌.

Of course, no trip to Kyoto would be complete without walking through the stunning 1,000 torii gates at Fushimi Inari Shrine ⛩️ — one of the most photogenic spots in all of Japan.

Finally, we took a meaningful day trip to Hiroshima, where we explored the Peace Memorial Park and reflected on the city’s powerful history. 🕊️
