Описание: Here are 4-ways to get to each section of Train Street from Hanoi’s Old Quarter (central tourism area).

❇️ SECTIONS #1 & #2 from least to most expensive. (All prices in USD)

1. WALK: Sections 1 & 2 are only about 1km (15 minute) walk from the top of Hoan Kiem Lake in Hanoi’s Old Quarter. There is plenty to see and places to stop along the way for a drink or bite.
✅PROS: Get some exercise, and time to take in everyday life on your journey there.
❌CONS: Walk is a little dangerous as you have to hop on and off the sidewalk/road due to motorbike parking on sidewalks.

2. GRAB BIKE: Download the Grab App and jump on the back of a motorbike with an experienced ride. The trip should only take 5-10 minutes depending on where you are located, and how heavy the traffic is. Total Cost: $1-$2 per person.
✅PROS: Get to experience Hanoi traffic behind an experienced rider - highly recommend!
❌CONS: Can be nerve wracking if you’ve never been on a bike

3. GRAB CAR or TAXi: If you are in a group, or if the thought of being on a scooter terrifies you, a car might make more sense. Getting a Grab Car is cheaper than a taxi, and you will avoid possible taxi scams. Also 5-10 minutes.
✅PROS: Air Conditioning
❌CONS: Taxi rides are probably one of the most likely ways to get scammed in Vietnam. It should cost no more than a few dollars to go anywhere you want to go in central Hanoi.

4. PEDAL TAXI: This is the most relaxing way to see the sights as you make your way to train street. It is also the most expensive, and most likely way to overpay for transportation. I would suspect a pedal taxi or Cyclo will cost $5-$10 from anywhere in the Old Quarter.
✅PROS: Maybe the best way to see the Old Quarter, other than on foot.
❌CONS: Another good way to get scammed. Make sure there is NO confusion between you and the driver about where you need him to go and how much it costs - BEFORE - you get in the Cyclo (pedal taxi)

DROP-OFF LOCATION - Section 1-2:
📍3 P. Trần Phú, Hàng Bông, Hoàn Kiếm, Hà Nội, Vietnam
________*-*________
❇️ SECTION 3 is the furthest from the Old Quarter, but that means it’s least busy.
✅❌PROS & CONS same as above.

1. WALK: 45 minutes to 1hr walk depending on where you start from and how fast you walk.
2. GRAB BIKE: 10-15 minute ride / Total cost $1-$2
3. GRAB CAR or TAXI: 10-15 minute ride / Total cost - Around $3
4. PEDAL TAXI: Negotiable.. I would expect around $8-$10 for one way transport

DROP-OFF LOCATION - Section 3:
📍Ngõ 222 Đ. Lê Duẩn, Khâm Thiên, Đống Đa, Hà Nội, Vietnam
