The Language Situation scenes are supposed to complement any regular language course by providing a sort of language "street experience".

You can see "real" people talking their "real" language. They are all quite taken by surprise in this unusual situation (somebody asking silly questions) and they react very spontaneously.

You have - Sie haven (this is the polite form for people you don't know well)

(normaly she should address him with the polite "Sie" form - in German you would say: Sie siezt ihn" when she use the informal "Du" form then: "Sie duzt ihn" The joke was that he has proposed this informal way of addressing him after she already did it anyway)
