I was genuinely impressed by how happy students are at Maastricht University in the Netherlands. Most love the teaching style and academics, and the student life in Maastricht is lively too—plenty of bars, cafés, and spots to hang out.

That said, there’s also an unspoken divide between international students and Dutch students… and from what I found, there’s some truth to it. Through my chats with students from all over the world, I wanted to give you a real, honest look at what student life at Maastricht University is really like.
