Silence is not absence.
It is the place where inner knowing is born.
This song is a gentle reminderto trust what you heard within,
even when your truth was quietly overwritten by what you were taught.
🎶 Lyrics
As a child,
small chair, wooden desk,
The teacher spoke with quiet respect.
“Beethoven couldn’t hear,” she said,
and pressed play, his music began to flow.

At home his music lived,
like air that made the atmosphere transparent with light,
filling everything with joy,
blending into harmony.
So I thought inside,
“Then what is this that has always played?”
I whispered, just to myself.

The teacher says, “He lost all sound.”
But why can I still hear it?
Why is the sound still so clear?
Even after the music stopped in the room.
I’m a bit confused, Rearranging what I knew.

The teacher says, “He lived in silence,”
but I hear music.
Not only from speakers,
from somewhere else.
If this is silence, then silence must be music.
What you say comes from what you were told,
but what I already know comes from what I lived.

Test on the paper, a circle or a mark,
“Couldn’t hear” is what she said, I know.
But it doesn’t match what hearing means to me.
My mother just smiled and said,
“A teacher teaches what she knows,
but not every truth fits what she shows.
Some children sense in another way,
in a wider field she has yet to learn.”

"Not every child walks in the same direction,
not every sense fits what books can say.
Your way of sensing is a treasure of life,
some truths don’t need words to be true."

The teacher says, “He lived in silence,”
but I hear music.

If this is silence, then silence must be wisdom.
Your information comes from what you were taught,
but what I already know comes from what I lived.
The teacher says, “He couldn’t hear,”
I say, “He heard it all there.”
Where music is born,
Like snowflakes falling,
before sound ever touches the staff.

Teachers can show the map,
but each child chooses their own direction.
Children learn from the unknown,
that is where adventure begins.

We are all born with our own gifts.
May we unveil the hidden treasure deep within.
