Hi Everyone, today we are back with another video and we are doing vinyl flooring. Because we opted out of OCS, the house came with bare flooring. Hence, the first step is to do cement screed. Cement screed and self leveling is extremely important as it sets the foundation for the house and determines the quality of the vinyl installation. There are some IDs out there claiming that self leveling is not required for vinyl flooring, but if you go to speak with the vinyl companies, most of them will say that self leveling is an absolute necessity, and I agree with them as well, so please do not save that few hundred dollars on self leveling as the end result can never be compared to vinyl with cement screed alone
