In the last lesson, you learned how the Study Cycle helps information stick by previewing, attending, studying, recalling, and reviewing.
Now, you’ll take that process deeper with an Intense Study Session — a short, structured sprint that trains your brain to stay fully engaged and recall more in less time.
Have you ever sat with your notes for two hours and walked away unsure what you actually learned? That’s because your brain was drifting. An Intense Study Session fixes that by teaching your brain to focus with intention.
🧩 The Four Steps
1️⃣ Set one clear goal. Know exactly what you’ll finish.
2️⃣ Focus completely for 30–50 minutes. One task, zero distractions.
3️⃣ Take a real break (10–15 min). Move, snack, or relax.
4️⃣ Review for 5 minutes. Summarize what you learned to lock it in.
Even one focused session beats hours of distracted work. Your brain was built for short sprints, not endless marathons.
