For this shot, I wanted to keep the colors rather natural, just adding some more contrast and details to the shelf clouds in the sky while also brightening up the foreground slightly. Most of it was done with the camera raw editor, while I used Photoshop to straighten the horizon and cleaning up the image.

1:30 2. Basic Adjustments
I started by changing the profile to Adobe standard for a flat image. Then, I changed the white balance for natural colors. I continued by adding some texture and a bit of vibrance.

2:20 3. Masking
Using local adjustments, I changed the exposure of the image. I started with differently sized linear gradients for the top part of the sky. Here, I dropped the exposure to make the sky darker. Next, I used a color range mask to select the field in the foreground and brightening it up by raising the exposure. Then, I used a radial gradient over the shelf cloud to add clarity, contrast and some brightness by raising the whites and the exposure.

With the spot healing brush, I cleaned up the photo here and there. Then, I used the warp tool to try and straighten the horizon.
