Royal Icing - Flooding a Cupcake 4 of 9
To flood a cupcake with royal icing you must have,
two important settings in mind.
1. Your cupcake must have a flat head
2. the royal icing must be consistent, not to watery or not two thick.
To get a flat head for your cupcake you must fill a
1 1/3 3rd of batter in a cupcake.
Or
use a bread knife to cut the dome of the cupcake.
Make a circle or border in the desired location you want to flood
the royal icing.
Poor the icing with a piping bag or in this case a piping bottle
with a steady stream.
You might have to practice on a piece of paper first to fill confident.
make a circle inside a circle until you finish the flooding.
Shake your cupcake to distribute the icing.
Use a tooth pick, to get rid of air bubbles and tune your flooding.
