Check out this demonstration at the 2016 Vision Show in Boston MA put together by Axis New England and Microscan. It shows a Universal Robots UR3 using a MicroHAWK Machine Vision camera to perform a final inspection on a small engine. The UR3 robot can move to a variety of angles to allow the MicroHAWK to image many different features, looking for flaws, missing pieces, and to verify part numbers.
