#graphite crucibles have to be tempered before using them in the #devil forge furnace.
When #tempering a crucible before #scrapping your metals you should slowly heat the crucible up to above the desired heat for the metal you want to melt in it.
In this video I do three tempering runs to make sure the crucible won't crack under normal melting of my aluminium.
