Trump raises US global tariffs to 15 percent after Supreme Court setback

Описание: United States President Donald Trump has doubled down on his new global tariffs, raising them from 10 to 15 percent, days after the Supreme Court struck down his sweeping levies on imports.
The move on Saturday came as businesses and governments around the world sought repayment for the estimated $133bn that Washington has already collected.
Companies that paid an estimated $175bn under the previous tariffs are expected to receive refunds with interest, whilst American consumers who spent roughly $1,000 extra per household on goods like groceries are unlikely to recover those costs.
