Welcome back to my channel!

In today's vlog, I take you along on my extended weekend trip to Dallas, TX! My sister was heading to Dallas on a work trip and invited me to tag along and I was so excited when the opportunity arose because I was desperately seeking some much-needed time off of work for a little reset, to enjoy some nice weather, and I had never been to Texas before and had been wanting to check it out.

I'll say we definitely had a true Texas experience because on the first day there we experienced Texas storms and tornado warnings which may or may not have caused a panic attack and sheltering lol. Looking back at it, it was so silly because everyone around us was just so chill and going about their day driving down the highway in the middle of 60-80mph winds, and meanwhile, my sister and I are freaking out and running as fast as we can into Super Target to try to avoid the large objects flying in the air from hitting us. If anything, it made me grateful for the mild Seattle weather we're used to lol. What an experience!!

If you're looking to visit Dallas, some of my favorite things we did in the greater Dallas/Fort Worth area that I recommend checking out include:
Tour AT&T Stadium in Arlington
Fort Worth Stockyards
Dallas Farmers Market
Dallas Botanical Garden & Arboretum (Pro tip: Buy tickets in advance! We showed up and it was sold out for the day so we were unable to check it out but have heard it's a must-see!)
Buc-ee's
And if you're looking to do some shopping, the Northpark Shopping Center was very nice, and the Fort Worth Outlet Mall!
