The Vice President Jessica Alupo yesterday, presided over a graduation ceremony of over 1,000 students who have completed their courses at Agro-students Centre in Jerusalem - Israel.
Uganda with a total of 250 graduands, had the majority of the trainees while the others, came from the other developing countries of Asia and Africa including the Kingdom of Bhutan, the Philippines, Cambodia, Tanzania, Ghana, Rwanda and Togo.
The Vice President pledged Uganda’s continuous commitment of working with Israel in ensuring that students not only graduate from the training but that the trainees, positively contribute to Uganda’s efforts towards modernizing economy through improved agriculture.
