Learn a Tricky Samba Groove

Описание: In this video, I'll demonstrate step-by-step how to learn a tricky latin pattern I got from drummer Danny Shaw. Danny is a fantastic player you should check out and his "Cinematic Tribe" groove has its share of challenges. To play it, you'll need to be able to play heel-toe splash with your hi-hat foot along with a samba bass drum pattern. On top of that you'll play the "&s and ahs" on an x-hat with your left hand while your right hand plays the melody. The trickiest thing is the polyrhythmic triplet at the end of the melodic pattern that is played with your right hand while all your other limbs are playing sixteenth-note rhythms.
