This pie is tender and flaky that doesn't require any any butter, shortening or fancy machines to make it. Bursting with blueberries, this pie is perfect for the upcoming blueberry season. • Easy Apple Pie No Butter No Shortening
• Homemade Pastry/Cake Flour
For the Dough
3 cups homemade pastry flour ( • Homemade Pastry/Cake Flour )
3 tablespoon sugar
1 teaspoon baking powder
1 cup milk
1/2 cup avacado oil (any neutral tasting oil will work)
For the blueberry filling
6 cups of fresh blueberries (2 lbs.)
1/3 cup sugar ( use less if you have very sweet berries or more if your berries are more sour/tart)
6 tablespoons tapioca flour
3 tablespoons lemon juice (or juice of lemon)
Lemon zest (zest of 1 lemon)
