For the first pose, I’ll walk you through how to start drawing the figure *just with tone*—no lines, no outlines, just shapes, value, and form. Then we’ll switch things up for the second pose and focus entirely on *drawing with line*.
If you find yourself outlining the figure a bit too much, this lesson will really help loosen up your drawings and shift the way you think about building the figure. My goal in this session is to clarify the difference between drawing with tone and drawing with line, and to show you that there’s no single “correct” approach. The right method is the one that feels natural to you and supports your personal style as an artist.
