'Oumuamua Accelerated Mysteriously 🛸

Why couldn't we study it better?
We discovered it AFTER it passed the Sun. By the time we realized it was interstellar, it was already leaving. We had weeks to observe before it became too faint.

Will we see another?
Yes. 2I/Borisov visited in 2019, 3I/ATLAS in 2024. Vera Rubin Observatory will detect many more.
