We offer comfort to weary hearts
and God’s guidance to unsteady steps.
May the life-giving Spirit raise up all who long for His Word.
Hold fast to the word given to you today,
and rise in victory.

I can do all things through him who strengthens me.
Philippians 4:13

The confession,
“through the One who gives me strength,”
is a declaration of faith that trusts the real and active power of Christ at work.
This power is not only the strength to endure circumstances,
but a living power that enables what needs to be done within the will of God.

For there is nothing impossible for God, and that power continues to work
in the lives of those who believe in Christ even now.
At the same time, this power steadies us in every place
and holds us firm as we discern and obey the will of God.
Even today, God, through the power found in Christ,
supplies both the strength to act and the grace to endure
within the situation you are facing.

God knows the day you must carry today,
and He provides, in Christ, exactly the strength that day requires.
