Technology forms us to the degree we form it, if not then more so. We need to beware of this or risk losing our humanity and autonomy. How do we do this? We must envision an epic future of us as gods, of man as superman. We do this by telling a story about our past, in such a way as to frame said future as inevitable, should we stay the course. In doing this, we create the justification for the kinds of technologies and techniques that we develop.
Rooted in Greek thought, we become aware of our own time-being and thus seek to define time accordingly, rather than unconsciously having technology define time for us. The acceptance of psychic realty is the mere first step in actively developing psychic abilities, pursuant to this goal of superhumanity.
