UPDATE: I should have posted this sooner and I did not, and for that I apologize. The motor that was recommended to me by Supply House and which I installed in this video did NOT fix the problem. I had a viewer reach out to me to see if it worked and I realized my error in not posting an update to this video. Ultimately, I ended up installing the old motor again and leaving the damper in the open position. My apologies for an incorrect solution.
Earlier this year I showed a temporary fix to a FieldControls Model GVD-6 Damper vent motor, but now it's time to disassemble it to see if I can actually fix it, and if not, get a new one to replace it.
