✨ 100 Days Prayana Series – Day 21 | Dashrath Manjhi “The Mountain Man” & Bodhgaya Vlog, Bihar ✨

On Day 21 of my 100 Days Prayana journey, I traveled across Bihar to explore two places that tell us about human determination and spiritual enlightenment.

🌄 Dashrath Manjhi – The Mountain Man
In the small village of Gehlaur, near Gaya, lived Dashrath Manjhi, a man whose love and persistence carved history. After losing his wife because medical help was too far across a mountain, he spent 22 years (1960–1982) cutting through solid rock with just a hammer and chisel. The result was a 110-meter long, 9-meter wide, and 7-meter deep road that connected his village to essential services. His story is a reminder that no obstacle is bigger than human willpower.

🙏 Bodhgaya – The Land of Enlightenment
From Gehlaur, I reached Bodhgaya, one of the most sacred Buddhist pilgrimage sites in the world. This is where Prince Siddhartha meditated under the Bodhi tree and attained enlightenment, becoming Lord Buddha. The Mahabodhi Temple (UNESCO World Heritage Site) stands as a symbol of peace, compassion, and wisdom. Pilgrims from across the globe come here to meditate, pray, and experience the calm energy of this holy land.
