Bulldozers deployed in Delhi's Ali village
DDA bulldozers roared into action once again in Ali village, demolishing approximately 15 shops. A large contingent of Delhi Police personnel was present during the operation. With the lifting of GRAP 3 restrictions in Delhi, the demolition was carried out today in Ali village. The DDA stated that people had illegally encroached on their land and constructed permanent structures, for which they had been served notices in November. The demolition is now being carried out following a court order.
