Angels work on our behalf but are commissioned by God to do His will on earth. The scripture says that angels harken unto the voice of the Lord. We are given authority over demons but not over angels. We can ask the Father for angelic assistance but we have the Holy Spirit's power that is sufficient for our case.
Angels are worshippers, warriors, messengers, and ministers. In a similar manner, God uses us. God does not need us, but He chooses to involve us in the ministry of deliverance and bringing people into salvation.
