In this video I talk about my own history with 'A Nightmare On Elm Street' and what it was like to see it at the Leicester Square Theatre in 1985 when it was first released here in the UK. I also show the VHS home video tape releases and the NTSC LaserDisc for the sixth film which included the impressive anaglyph 3D conclusion, albeit not as impressive as I'd seen it at the Leicester Square theatre which by then had been duplexed and re-named the Odeon West End. Also included is a look at the Leicester Square cinemas today plus the Odeon on Shaftesbury Avenue where I saw many great films over the years but as I made this video it seemed to be in the process of being demolished. The terminal decline of cinema in the UK continues.
