Star Wars: Green Squadron is a fan made starfighter game developed from the ground up to be a love letter to classic Battlefront and Rogue Squadron fans. It uses gameplay mechanics inspired by Star Wars Battlefront (2004) and Rogue Squadron II: Rogue Leader (2001). It currently features missions and instant action levels from both the Rebellion Era and Clone Wars Era.
The project is being developed in Unity HDRP and all mechanics were developed in house. The starfighter models used are currently from the original games, but will be replaced with updated versions over time. Custom models are used for the turrets, environments, and capital ships.
