Описание: With the advent of tight well spacing and multistage horizontal fracturing, SSI gets calls more often about testing for surface casing vent leaks. Many (especially in the USA) feel that if a well is frac'ed over and over again at high pressures, it is likely possible to crack the cement and allow vent gases to travel up the outside of production casing and enter the surface casing. After all there are thousands of surface casing vents releasing gas and water to surface. Is it possible that if this water can travel up to the surface a leak from the zone can travel all the way to an aquifer? Surface Solutions can gather test samples to identify the source of the fluid and gas from a surface casing vent, thus eliminating doubts about aquifer contamination.
