More Horsepower and Better Throttle Response. This is the perfect throttle intake for modified Mustangs. This clever mod is actually 2 devices in one. It is both a larger diameter throttle body and a large diameter intake elbow. This takes care of the problem when the throttle body is not port matched to the factory intake plenum, thereby creating unnecessary turbulence as the air flows from one section to the next. Featuring a 78mm throttle opening, this BBK unit is much larger than the stock 1996-2004 Mustang 55mm unit, thereby providing a massive increase in air intake capacity and is ideal for heavily modified naturally aspirated Mustangs or any forced induction application. Owners can expect an improvement in throttle response in addition to a gain of 12-15 horsepower.

Other features include O-ringed throttle shafts, OEM diestamped throttle linkages and double-sealed bearings. Straightforward Bolt-on Installation.Simply remove the factory throttle body from the manifold. Transfer the intake air control valve and throttle position sensor (TPS) to the new BBK throttle intake, bolt on as necessary and you’re ready to go. A degree in engineering is not needed, nor are any specialty tools.
