Good Theater's Steve Underwood organized a crew to rebuild and resurface the stage at the St. Lawrence. This project was long overdue. With COVID keeping the theater dark, it seemed like the perfect time to take on this task.
With volunteers from Good Theater, Vivid Motion and the St. Lawrence, Steve and crew spent three weeks tearing things apart, and then putting it all back together with new materials, creating a seamless, perfectly smooth stage surface. We estimate there were 500 coats of paint on that floor!!!
Good Theater and Vivid Motion split the $3,600 cost to rebuild the stage. A big Thank You to Hammond Lumber for the generous discount.
