09:03 – For the avoidance of doubt, you cannot just leave the battle screen to trigger the 12 minute cooldown by e.g. going to your town, as this will not remove you from battle. You must actually tap the banner at the top and select "Leave Battlefield" to properly exit the battle. You will know you have done this correctly because the game will not allow you to re-enter the battle and it shows you the 12-min cooldown timer clock. If you do not see this clock, then you have not left the battle properly!
