The timelapse at the start of the video shows how the tornado developed, where the parent storm kicks out cold air and an associated boundary between that cold air and warm inflow, then reingests that air and forms a tornado. A rare process infrequently observed.
The 4K shots are unreleased clips from a close encounter with the large tornado.
