As you can probably tell throughout this video, I am very much a less is more kind of woman. I prefer a timeless style and I only tend to dip my toe in the trends as and when I feel they suit me. And even then, I'm probably more subtle on the subtle end of the scale!

I don't like my clothes to wear me, but to wear my clothes. So I'll only spend my pennies on items that have longevity and pieces I feel suit my shape.

If budget allowed, we could all stuff our wardrobe with all the latest trends but would that really make us look more stylish? Personally, I don't think so. True style begins with knowing what suits you and having the confidence to wear it with your head held high. If that happens to be this seasons cargo pants for example, then brilliant, I'm with you on that one, but only invest if it genuinely makes you feel good:) Trends will come and go, so buy wisely and make sure it makes you feel wonderful while you're doing it!
